Description
The OPAL-105 Aldehyde and Alcohol Analysis System is a compact form-factor analysis instrument designed for simple aldehydes and alcohols. The system is a portable, easy-to-use chemical analysis tool designed for the quantitative analysis of ppm-level solutions of chemicals such as formaldehyde and/or methanol. A ten-minute test provides the alcohol or aldehyde concentration in aqueous solution. Software upgrades enable additional capabilities. The OPAL-105 Aldehyde and Alcohol Analysis System provides the benefit of laboratory-grade capabilities without the need for expensive, complex laboratory instruments and technical expertise.
The ability to convert other chemicals to aldehydes or alcohols, opens the door to a wider range of testing capabilities. Methods are available for monoethylene glycol (MEG) and THPS. In addition, methods for ketones are available upon request, including acetone and MIBK.
