Biocides

Biocides are chemical or physical agents designed to control or eliminate harmful microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, algae, and other pathogens. They are used to disinfect, sanitize, or control the growth of these microorganisms in various settings. Biocides serve essential roles in public health, water treatment, agriculture, industry, and many other fields. Many biocides are built upon amines or aldehydes, making them especially well-suited for analysis via Quantitative Raman Spectroscopy.
