Description
The ORCA-306 Phosphate Analysis Unit is a fully integrated, automated on-line process analyzer engineered for continuous, unattended measurement of phosphate and sulfate in power generation steam circuits, mining ore extraction slurries, phosphoric acid production, and industrial wastewater treatment. Combining the ORCA electronic control core with an automated microfluidic conditioning system, the ORCA-306 measures high-concentration and percentage-level phosphate streams directly—eliminating the manual dilution labor, hazardous ammonium molybdate handling, and slow turnaround of traditional laboratory testing.
- Power Plant Boiler Feedwater: Continuous monitoring of congruent and coordinated phosphate treatment programs to prevent caustic gouging and phosphate hideout.
- Mining & Ore Extraction: Real-time ore grade assessment and phosphate beneficiation slurry tracking in phosphoric acid digestion units.
- High-Concentration Capability: Quantifies percentage-level concentrations directly without requiring multi-stage manual volumetric dilutions.
- Simultaneous Sulfate Speciation: Simultaneously measures co-existing sulfate (SO42-) ions in the same slipstream optical measurement run.
- Hazard Elimination: Replaces hazardous acid-digest reagents with clean, automated optical Raman flow-cell spectroscopy.
- Integrated Industrial Enclosure: Houses the central computing/optical spectrometer and automated fluidic preparation unit in a single pre-calibrated cabinet.
- Automated Slipstream Sampling: Pulls fresh samples on an automated schedule with internal purge cycles to clear line dead-legs.
- Self-Cleaning Optical Interface: Programmed solvent flushes between test cycles prevent mineral precipitation and maintain optical baseline integrity.
- Bulk Reagent Autonomy: Shipped with a 4-L automated reagent reservoir designed for high-frequency testing with minimal technician oversight.
- Plant SCADA Integration: Transmits real-time phosphate and sulfate telemetry directly to plant historians via Modbus TCP/IP, RS-485, and dual 4–20 mA outputs.
