Description

Organic amines are corrosion control agents that increase pH and scavenge corrosive contaminants. Morpholine, for example, is a widely-used corrosion inhibitor that eliminates dissolved CO2 and helps control pH in industrial boiler systems. Often used in conjunction with cyclohexylamine (OV-PP-B016) as a neutralizing amine for condensate, morpholine is suitable for short to moderate length or high pressure return systems. On-site monitoring of neutralizing amines can help maintain appropriate corrosion protection, extending system lifetime and avoiding costly corrosion-induced shutdowns and failures.
